An asbestos survey tells you what asbestos-containing materials are in a property, where they are, what condition they are in and what, if anything, needs to happen next. For any building constructed or refurbished before the year 2000, a survey is the sensible first step before renovation, demolition, or simply to meet your legal duty to manage. If a material does not need removing, managing or encapsulating it in place may be the right answer.

We carry out both Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) Surveys, with samples analysed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory. You receive a photographed register with each item’s location and condition, and a clear recommendation for each: remove, repair or manage in place. Where a material is in good condition and better left where it is, we say so.
Because Innov8 UK Group is also an HSE-licensed removal contractor, we can coordinate the survey information, sampling requirements and any removal work that follows. Where licensed work requires four-stage clearance, this is carried out independently by the analytical organisation.
