Innov8 UK Group is an Environment Agency registered waste carrier collecting and disposing of hazardous waste for businesses, contractors and homeowners across Manchester, the North West and the UK. Asbestos waste is our specialism, but our consignment service covers chemicals, contaminated soils, oils and fuels, WEEE, fluorescent tubes and clinical waste — collected safely and delivered to licensed treatment and transfer facilities.

Hazardous waste lives and dies by its paperwork. Every collection comes with hazardous waste consignment notes, correct EWC coding, duty-of-care documentation and a full audit trail from your site to final disposal — the records HSE inspectors, environmental auditors and clients ask to see. We advise on classification, packaging and storage before we arrive, so the collection itself takes minutes, not mornings.

More than asbestos

Contaminated soils, chemical residues, oils and interceptor waste, clinical and sharps, fluorescent tubes and WEEE, fly-tipped unknowns — hazardous waste is anything that can harm people or environment if handled casually. We identify, package, transport and consign the lot.

Unknown drums and fly-tips are a speciality: we characterise first, then move, never the other way round.

The consignment note trail

Every movement of hazardous waste in England needs a consignment note that follows the load from your site to its licensed destination, with copies retained for three years. Producer, carrier and receiver all carry legal duties — and the producer’s duty of care never transfers.

We are Environment Agency registered carriers, and every job closes with the paperwork that keeps your file audit-proof.

Packaging and transport done right

UN-approved containers, compatible segregation on the vehicle, ADR-trained drivers where quantities demand it. The regulations are unforgiving about mixed loads — an acid beside an alkali is an incident, not a saving.

Small quantities are consolidated into milk-round collections so a few drums do not cost like a full load.

One call across the estate

Facilities and estates teams use us as the single route for whatever turns up: asbestos from a refurb, oils from plant rooms, chemicals from a lab clear-out, the mystery cache in the basement.

What hazardous waste do you collect?

Asbestos (bonded and fibrous), chemicals and COSHH-controlled products, contaminated soils and spoil, oils and fuels, WEEE, fluorescent tubes, clinical and sharps waste, and mixed hazardous loads from site clearances. If it needs consigning, we can move it.

Do I get consignment notes?

Always. Every hazardous movement travels on a consignment note with correct EWC codes; you keep your copy and we retain ours, giving you the duty-of-care audit trail the law requires — and we can supply copies again later if you lose them.

Can you collect asbestos waste from a DIY removal?

Yes — provided it is double-bagged or wrapped in 1000-gauge polythene. We can supply the correct bags and wrap beforehand, then collect, consign and dispose at a licensed facility. It is usually far cheaper than a skip company will quote for it.

How quickly can you collect?

Routine collections are typically within 24–72 hours of booking. For urgent situations — fly-tipped asbestos, spill response, failed audits — we run same-day and next-day emergency collections where we can.

How is the cost worked out?

By waste classification, quantity, packaging and access. Photos are usually enough for us to classify and quote a fixed written price — no weighbridge surprises after the event.

Where do you collect from?

Anywhere in mainland UK. Depots in Manchester, Carlisle and London mean regular runs through the North West, Yorkshire, the Midlands, Scotland, Wales, London and the South East.
