Following a site visit and assessment on the agreed date with the principal contractor, Innov8 has been instructed to undertake the removal of licensed asbestos materials from the Doncaster SPO Site. During the initial visit, attendees our project manager, our project manager, and the principal contractor’s representative assessed the remedial actions required and agreed for the works to commence on Wednesday, the agreed date. A further site visit was conducted on the agreed date to reassess site conditions, which confirmed that no changes had occurred since the initial inspection.
The licensed asbestos removal works were delivered in three phases as outlined below:
E01 – 009 Office- Removal of AIB ceiling panels, wall panels, upstands, and associated debris (200m²).
Removal of AIB external ground floor soffits (1m2).
E02 – 008 Boiler Room- Removal of AIB ceiling panels and associated debris (16m²)
All works were carried out under fully controlled conditions, in strict accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Enclosures & Air Management, Full enclosures with negative pressure units (NPUs) were erected where required, airlocks and bag locks were used to prevent fibre release, Smoke testing of enclosures prior to works.
