Approx. 20m² of Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) ceiling was removed from a domestic property in Carlisle under fully licensed conditions, within a negative pressure enclosure with airlock decontamination procedures.
The enclosure was smoke-tested before work began, the ceiling removed using controlled wet techniques, and the area handed back only after a satisfactory independent four-stage clearance and issue of the certificate of reoccupation.
