In December 2025, exactly one year after being granted its first HSE asbestos licence, Innov8 UK Group was awarded a full three-year licence — the strongest endorsement the Health and Safety Executive can give a licensed asbestos contractor. It is recognition of a year of safe, compliant, high-quality work.
The HSE does not hand out three-year licences lightly. The length of a licence reflects the HSE's confidence in a contractor's competence, management systems and track record. New entrants typically hold shorter licences and are assessed frequently; a three-year award signals that a contractor has proven itself capable of managing the highest-risk asbestos work consistently and safely over time.
For clients, it is a simple, powerful reassurance: the HSE trusts this contractor enough to license it for the maximum standard period.
That trust was earned project by project. Over the year, our licensed teams delivered asbestos removal across an exceptional range of settings — signalling relay rooms and station buildings on the Network Rail estate, an occupied care home, a primary school, industrial units, a religious premises, and homes across the North West. We were inspected by the HSE unannounced on multiple occasions and welcomed the scrutiny every time, closing out every point of feedback and feeding it back into stronger systems.
A longer licence does not change how we work — it confirms it. Every project still runs to the same regime: purpose-built enclosures under negative pressure, decontamination units, shadow vacuuming, personal air monitoring, and independent four-stage clearance, all fully compliant with CAR 2012 and HSG247.
The three-year HSE licence is a milestone we are proud of. But for the businesses, families and organisations who trust us with their buildings, the real value is what it represents: a licensed asbestos contractor you can rely on, backed by the HSE's fullest confidence.
